Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.
Somewhere between dusty boxes and stacked teacups, I discovered that clearing clutter isn't a linear process—it's a journey of the heart.
When my husband and I decided to retire, we also committed to making a major move. We had the obvious challenge to work through—downsizing forty years of possessions. But there was another obstacle: I could hardly walk.
Aside from my mobility, I assumed the hardest part of this process would be sorting through closets and cabinets. But the emotional aspects of clutter blindsided me—things like fear, guilt, responsibility, and a flood of memories. And then another surprise came: God met me in the middle of the mess.
Clearing clutter became a beautiful thing.
I am convinced that only God could tie spiritual insights with a junk drawer.
Why Clearing the Way Exists
I used to read articles that treated clutter like a simple mechanical chore. But when emotions flared and threatened to derail me, those easy formulas left me wondering, “Now what? Who is going to help me here?”
When I realized I wasn't the only woman frustrated in the process, an unexpected thought kept returning…. What if I wrote about it?
For weeks, I tried to say no to the idea. I told myself there were already enough decluttering blogs out there. Surely someone else had already written on this. But the idea wouldn't let me go.
Some days, you will find yourself overwhelmed and wondering why a little pile suddenly feels so hard. That’s when my work can offer you a compassionate space to pause, breathe, and receive immense grace.
As we walk this path together, you’ll start to feel stronger. Your capacity will expand. You’ll find your footing and regain your confidence. And in those moments, I’ll happily celebrate your wins. No matter where you are on your journey today, you don't have to walk it alone.
I’ve worn many hats through the years—holistic health practitioner, Christian Life Coach, wife, and mom. Most recently, I assisted families going through probate and helped them find the right senior community to move to. Looking back, I see God weaving every one of those experiences together, preparing me for this work.
Whether today’s step is one drawer or one difficult decision, I hope you leave here with a little more courage, feeling a little more hopeful than when you arrived.
There’s a beautiful life waiting beyond the clutter.
My name is Sherri Lund, and I help women navigate the emotional side of decluttering. If you're navigating a major transition, downsizing, or simply trying to find room to breathe, you're in the right place.
